we have a new pet here in tucson…her name is caroline and she is a scorpion. luckly we had just polished of an extra large jar of pickles so a habitat was easy to recreate with some rocks, sand, and twigs. she was a bit of a surprise this morning when we found her on our bedroom rug but it seems that she has settled in nicely and springs to life when we shake her jar to make sure she is still alive. reading up on scorpions, we have discovered that caroline is of the Bark Scorpion variety which is the most venomous in these parts and have been know to kill people although dogs are generally pretty safe and cats are immune. anyhow, we are hoping not to find any of caroline’s friends in our bed.

i’ve never been as excited had i have been recently to read books. it is like a little angle came down and blessed me with the will power to sit or lay and read this book. its a long book and i wish it was a bit shorter because almost 400 pages of a book is a tall order for a first book in a while. its good though and inspirational of sorts. inspiration in the sense of a boy my age raising a bother about 9yrs old. it doesn’t make me wish i had kids right now but it did inspire me enough to update my blog and tell the world that Tucson, Arizona is once again heaven on earth in the middle of January. I’m getting tan. I have good company. I have found my self once again, on the ranch. This time the horses are still next door, however the house is occupied with friends, boy friends, and little shits. and a chocolate lab. it nice having a dog around, if I haven’t ever emphasized that before let me say it again. its nice to have a dog.

we are packing up the coffee shop and i need to hit the post box. the little shit is shooting the shit and telling the world how it is and how it should be and how it will be and taking pictures of girls’ butts.

until the next moment of inspiration.

the past couple days have been a bit of a sugar and coffee bender but its quite nice and i suddenly seem to be finding words running out of my finger tips. they are not flowing like wine or water or poetry or coherency but they are flowing like a broken down damn. not just a little hole in the damn oozing out but the whole gosh darn wall collapsed and power is out in the town of frisco, assuming they use some of their damn for power in frisco…it might have actually just been a resevoir with a straight cut bridge do to the powers of construction and humanity, i can not recall.

i do recall the awesomeness of lake dillon however and the fun had last weekend in the mountains racing cross at 9000ft. and tomorrow is gonna be cross in the snow. with the off chance of sounding a bit too much like a small child i am excited and going to pack lots of warm clothes, esspecially for my fingers and toes.

i should pack. goodnight.
