Brad Huff battled through a late sprint to win the Uptown Minneapolis Criterium by less than a bike length at the Nature Valley Grand Prix on Friday.
With help closing the gap from teammates Jeremy Powers and Christiaan Kriek, Huff hit the gas in a furious last lap to take the win ahead of three other riders.
“The team put Brad in a great position and he made the most of it. It was great to see the Jelly Belly p/b Kenda riders put together such an impressive win,” said team director Danny Van Haute.
Huff also took second place in Stage 2′s Downtown St. Paul Criterium, and Ricardo Van der Velde was 7th. Nature Valley wraps up with Saturday’s 152-kilometer Menomonie Road Race and Sunday’s Stillwater Criterium.
