BC Superweek overall
AMAZING!
our first host house was a 90 year old woman named Charlotte. She inspired us so much. She played 18 holes of golf twice a week, swam 1 or 2 days a week, rode her tricycle all over town, read books flat out, and had as much energy as a 5 year old! The best day was when she drove us to our UBC Crit. Heavy on the brake and heavy on the gas, but she knew every shortcut and every turn we needed to take. She was amazing.
Then we stayed with a couple that lived close to white rock. Jim and Bonnie and their amazing dog Mocha! What isn’t there to say about them. Over the top in every area. They made Sean and I feel completely at home and their amazing dog came outside to meet us every single time we returned to the house. I have to say I was really sad that I had to go.
Nic Hamilton was able to WIN the overall for the final 3 day Tour of White Rock! We worked our tails off and it paid off. Congrats to Nic!
Nic’s loving family was at every race and was a HUGE reason why we were able to race so well. They feed us at home, they feed us at the races, they drove us to the hospital, they were just amazing.
I havn’t had so much fun suffering in a long long time. Thank you to everyone involved in BC Superweek.
