Meredith Miller has recently partnered with California-based Light and Motion. The company designs, builds and sells the lightest, brightest, most reliable lights on the market. Each of their light systems are rechargeable. Founded with a focus on underwater imaging, Light and Motion pioneered high power portable systems with great beam patterns.
“I had the opportunity to visit Light & Motion’s headquarters in Monterey and was really excited about my experience,” says Miller. “I’m impressed with the people I met who have dedicated themselves to the growth and success of a company that targets the safety and visibility of their customers. The products they build and design are known as the best on the market because of them. My favorite part of the visit was assembling the Seca 1400 and Stella 200 myself just as the employees do day after day.”
In 2010, Light and Motion will focus on the transport cycling segment with the new Vis 360 and Vis 180 lights. These lights are designed to maximize rider safety and visibility with their powerful illumination from front to rear. Miller uses these commuter lights when riding during non-daylight hours.
Miller will work with Light and Motion to coordinate four demo events throughout the season. Cycling enthusiasts will be invited to join Miller on night rides for opportunities to sample and learn about Light and Motion products.
Daniel Emerson, CEO of Light and Motion, says: “We are excited to help support Meredith in her outstanding commitment to the sport of cycling. She is a great athlete and competitor as well as a tremendous spokesperson for our beloved sport.”
