Pro Tour riders Will Frisckhorn and Ted King sit on the “Hot Saddle” for some quick questions from Missingsaddle.com.

Ted King
Cervelo Test Team
Q: Your TdF Final Podium
1. Carlos Sastre!
2. Contador
3. Evans
Q: What young rider to watch?
It was Dan Martin, but apparently he just got yanked with tendonitis. So among young riders Cav and Farrar will duke it out.
Q: Who will be the eventual team leader of Astana?
Johan Bruyneel, duh. Oooooh, on the bike? Vivamos Americanos!
Q: Which stages will be the “game-changers?”
Most likely the ones with some climbs in them. Actually for serious I think the radio-free days should be good to shake things up.
Q: Who is the smartest DS?
Alex Sans-Vega and Jean Paul van Poppel. You know, you’re twisting my arm here by asking a rider who has his team thoroughly involved in this race.
Q: Who is the funniest cyclist in the Tour de France?
Americans trump this category, for sure. People will say Dave Z. No doubt he’s a hoot, but I think Vandevelde is actually the winner here.

Q: Your TdF Final Podium
1. Contador
2. Schlecks, one of em
3. Menchov
Q: What young rider to watch?
Andy Schleck, hard to not put him at the top of the list. But a lot of hitting young guys this year.
Q: Who will be the eventual team leader of Astana?
Contador
Q: Which stages will be the “game-changers?”
a lot of ‘em. It’s going to be an interesting tour and especially with the potential power struggle at Astana there could be some surprises. That ventoux day will be a real decider. 20 days in, guys are tired, it’ll be hot – the final sort out for sure.
Q: Who is the smartest DS?
Cmon… Matt White!
Q: Who is the funniest cyclist in the Tour de France?
Zabriskie, hands down. Whether what he says is actually funny, or so twisted it couldn’t be anything else, he’s the man.
