True Kentucky Speaks!

Unbelievable shot. Little Bocephus and his little bassist enjoying good times on the lake. Blue water, white capped teeth, running shorts and sweet times.
The little blonde is so excited holding his Bass. Hank jr. is just holding up the thumb, head cocked back. No shirt needed here, no need. The bassist whom I was told was the touring bassist at the time and from no other than the bluegrass state of Kentucky.
It has also come to my knowledge that the son of the great Hank sr. and father of the likable Hank III had broken his face in a ski accident in high school. Yes snow ski. Bocephus went to school in the Swiss Alps. When the cowboy hit the mountain he also hit the trees, hard. The cunt- ry singer has had to don the beard ever since.
I came across this adornment while moving for a friend. The beautiful picture now decorates my wood stove. Several people that have seen this pic on the stove, have positively identified the little bassist. I feel uncomfortable giving his name, but he does live in Skylight, Kentucky. He is close enough to come and take the picture back, and kick the shit out of me.
By Kentucky standards, these guys are considered to be a couple of trim dudes(Kentucky slim). One friend at first glance, only wanted to know where the bassist’s belly button was hidden.
Now reader should note that I am not some frat guy that loves some Hank jr. The matter of fact is that I really hate the music of little Boreefer. Hank sr. and III are more to my taste.

He broke his face falling off a cliff while hiking in Montana once he was good and grow’d up, not in high school. And sure as hell not skiing.
