Missing Saddle Interviews: Erwin Vervecken - June 15, 2006
MP3 Format Now Fixed - For those of you who experienced a sudden end to the interview at minute 22, the complete version is now posted.
Sure the cyclo-cross season is months away, but we wanted to check in with the reigning world champion and see what he’s been up to. There are few riders in the peloton as nice and humble as Erwin is and it’s always nice to see him doing well.
Our panel of experts included Geoff Proctor from Helena, Montana. Geoff is a familiar face on the cyclo-cross scene for many years both as a competitor and as the Technical Director for the U.S. Grand Prix of Cyclo-Cross.
On the tech side of things, we’re still working out a few minor issues at Missing Saddle studios - aka my bedroom - forgive me for the sound levels and heavy breathing into the mic.

hey, did anyone else have trouble listening to this? Someone said it cut out at 22 mintues, but I was able to hear the entire thing.

yah, it cut out right after EV said there would be a WC in 07/08 and the GP starts talking and it cuts out.

Thanks for posting this interview with Erwin Vervecken and Geoff Proctor. My mp3 download played for 22 minutes and 56 seconds in WMP.

He came across as a genuinely nice guy - he also came across the finish line first, although he was pushed by Tim really hard.
