And as far as rent goes he own's his own house out on AJO hwy for those of you who know were that is. And belive it or not back in the day he was a golf pro along with many other job's. I remember him from when I was in high schol when he had the blue bike, always seemed like he was sandwich short of a picnic basket. A friend of mine worked out at the same gym as him and met him a few months before his death. The word is he was really nice if not a little crazy. I worked at Cafe Paraiso in the winters and he'd just hang out there for hours on end. I even went on a ride once with him, and decided never to do that again after he started taking corners on the inside lane into oncoming traffic. And while we're on Tuscon folklore, whatever happened to Tree? You know, that guy that was like 8'9" who used to hang out at Time Market? My first encounter was on Lemmon where the wolf popped out of the desert and blew by our group, in then a flash of pearly white lycra. His tactic was to get far enough in front to disappear on us but his legs had other ideas. As he started to fade he dove of behind a tree to hide but we saw him. I tactfully yelled "WE SEE YOU WHITEWOLF!" I always wondered why the shootout was so fast.... Any update on the leatherback rider around U of A? Dude in short shorts, serious melanoma, riding a cruiser with the saddle about 12 inches too high.... My sides are burstin!
