While it may not be the first NRC event of the year, the Merced Cycling Classic is the first NRC race most domestic teams could actually attend. Toyota-United had a heavy favorite in Juan Haedo, but it was Health Net rider Mike Jones delivering the goods ahead of Jackson Stewart (Kodakgallery.com - Sierra Nevada).
