McLane Pacific Coming Up

Place your bets kids! With the Amgen Tour of California behind us, it’s now open Classics season. The McLane Pacific Cycling Classic (1.5) kicks off this coming weekend with the criterium on Saturday and road race on Sunday. I always liked this road race course, especially if the weather was nasty. A good cross wind can put it in the gutter and blow things apart. The Pro Women do 3 laps totaling 70 miles with the Pro-Elite men’s field going for 5 laps/120 miles. If the ToC is any indication of who’s on top, it’s hard to imagine any other outcome than Team America leading out JJ Haedo for the win on both days.

And speaking of Toyota-United, check out the latest cycling video - an interview with Toyota-United Pro Cycling team director Harm Jansen.
